About Laura, the Bichon Frise
Laura, the Bichon Frise, My New Home,
is an endearing story about how Laura is rescued and becomes a member of a new
family. She overcomes fears of being in a new family, and learns to
develop trust from her new owners. This is a wonderfully illustrated book
that every child should read. It helps children realize that animals feel,
think, and give love. Laura takes you on her journey into her new family
as she realizes that she is loved. This is one of six books about Laura,
her journeys, and lessons learned.

About the Bichon Frise Breed
The Bichon Frise is a sweet little white dog
with a soft, fluffy coat and lively personality. This affectionate and sociable
dog makes a great companion, loves being part of the family and gets along well
with children. In the 16th century, the Bichon Frise became popular in the
French royal courts. They were used as circus performers in the past, but today
they are primarily a companion and show dog.
Also called Tenerife Dog.
